After receiving a friendly challenge, seasoned streamer and long time gamer, Yang decides to jump in a multiplayer game, and prove in a month that he is "Unbeatable". He hopes that this will bring him back from the brink of burning out, and adds something new to his repetitive life. The challenge proves to be harder than he expects, but he finds new friends, adventure and wonder along the way.
Life is not a game, though.
“Copy0225803, this is you. You are an exact virtual copy of the biological body of Lauren Small. You are also the newest occupant of this social simulation world called Limbo. Being only a copy of an original individual, you do not have any rights. You only exist to serve the System. Your existence will be extended for as long as you are valuable. Losing that value will ultimately lead to your permanent removal from the System.”
After Lauren finds herself in a simulation, she needs to learn survival quickly. But what is the point of the simulation itself? Why does the System place copies of real persons in it? What is it studying?
Facing an ever changing and always dangerous environment, Lauren goes on a long journey to find answers to the questions that no one has answers to. Whatever she finds, will it satisfy her curiosity, or will it just raise more questions?
“Do not forget: You serve the System, and the System sees everything.”
The challenge is now over, but life goes on in Fowl. Yang and his friends create a clan, but suddenly, out of the blue, another clan declares war against them. Can this newly minted guild defend themselves against a much more established one? And what else is planned by the machiavellian brain of the leader of the Long Dons?
